Following the initial engagement, the troops pursued the escaping terrorists and neutralised at least seven more, with further operations underway to exploit the situation and secure the area. Among the items recovered were a motorcycle, ten bicycles, and a PKT automatic machine gun complete with ammunition belts—assets identified as critical enablers for the insurgents.

In a separate encounter, the soldiers also thwarted another attempted attack in Mallamfatori, inflicting heavy losses on the terrorists.

Praising the bravery of the forces, the Commander urged them to continue their efforts in the push for a completely terrorist-free region. The successful defence and counterattacks demonstrate the ongoing resolve of the military to confront and dismantle terrorist threats across the region.
