This prestigious and fully funded scholarship programme is available to both domestic and international students aiming to pursue a master’s or professional degree, offering not only financial support but also access to mentorship and leadership development.
The McCall MacBain Scholarships are intended for individuals who demonstrate a compelling vision for making a positive impact on the world and who show strong leadership potential. The programme covers full tuition and fees for eligible graduate programmes at McGill University. In addition to academic funding, successful applicants will receive a monthly living allowance of $2,000 for the duration of their studies, as well as relocation assistance for those moving to Montreal. Recipients will also benefit from a global community, leadership training opportunities, and guidance from an extensive mentorship network described as “world-class”.
Applicants must meet one of several eligibility pathways. They must either be completing their first bachelor’s degree by August 2026, have earned their first bachelor’s degree in January 2020 or later, or have graduated before January 2020 but were 30 years old or younger as of 1 January 2025. Additionally, candidates must meet the admission criteria for the McGill graduate programme they wish to pursue, including any language requirements.
Two key deadlines have been announced. Students who completed or are completing their undergraduate studies outside Canada or the United States must submit their applications by 4:00 PM ET on 20 August 2025. Meanwhile, those who studied in Canada, the U.S., or are Canadian citizens residing abroad must apply by 4:00 PM ET on 24 September 2025. Applications can be initiated via the scholarship’s official platform.
